The latest from the coaches, players and parents
This week on Thursday, we will have an athlete-led practice due to Coach Whitcher and I being in Parent/Teacher conferences. There will not be a 5:30 bus, all athletes will need to have their own transportation.
Friday, the girls will practice after 11:35 dismissal. It will be a short premeet practice. Once again, there will be no Parkway transportation.
Fundraising-we get a donation to our program every year for volunteering!

Spectator Parking Information:
Carpool Please: To help with traffic flow and maximize the parking spots we have available, we encourage spectators to carpool to the course. Each adult that carpools is one more parking space for another vehicle full of people. Thank you in advance!
Parking Locations: On-site public parking will be available in the following locations:
Across the road from the course in the grass lots and paved lots along Bristol Lake Parkway to Philips Lake Park. Street parking on Bristol Lake Parkway north of Philips Lake Park.
Father Tolton High School and the Missouri Department of Conservation after 5pm on Friday and anytime Saturday. Please only park in designated spots.
Off-site parking is available near the Columbia Sports Fieldhouse, specifically in the business lots on Philips Farm Rd. after 5pm on Friday, or in the pickleball/tennis court lots across from the Fieldhouse anytime. Two spectator shuttles will be running from near the pickleball courts to the course, or there is a one mile paved/gravel path to the course that starts near the pickleball courts and runs alongside Philips Lake.
No parking is available in the grass lot across from Father Tolton that had been used prior to last year. There is also no parking in the grass at Father Tolton high school this year.
ADA: A limited number of ADA spots will be available in the main parking lot at the course during both days of competition. A hangtag must be visible when arriving on site. These are available on a first come basis.

South High School AthleticsRemember bus LEAVES at 3:45. Pack water and snacks. You race at 5:30, only 2.2ish miles!!!!!!!!

Attached is the information for next Friday's meet at McNair Park. I am excited that we were able to add this to our schedule. The girls will race here twice this season, so they will be able to compare times and see how much they progress in a matter or 6 weeks. For both Wednesday and Friday, the girls will change and meet at the gym entrance to ride the bus to the meet. We always provide transportation to and from meets. It is the expectation that all girls ride the bus to the meet, but if they wish to ride home with parents, that is okay. We ask that they stay for everyone's race, and then they can leave. We are excited for racing to begin so they can show off all their hard work.
Come meet the coaches and cheer the runners Thursday after school!It will be in the grass behind the football field. It will start around 3:30.
Media Day is 9:55am on 8/29@ the track
